Do I need to print TDAC?

No, you do not need to print TDAC. The TDAC is issued electronically by the Thai government and it is automatically linked to your passport, allowing border control officers to view it in their system. Additionally, you will receive a confirmation of your TDAC by email in PDF format with a QR code. You can save this document on your phone and present it if requested.

How long is TDAC valid?

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is valid for a single entry into Thailand and is used for your specific trip. It is valid only for one travel - the date of arrival and the travel details you provide in your application. If you leave Thailand and re-enter, a new TDAC has to be completed.

How long can I stay in Thailand with TDAC?

The length of time you can stay in Thailand for one visit depends on your nationality and the type of entry you use. TDAC is only an arrival form and does not determine the length of your stay.

Do children need TDAC as well?

Yes. Each traveler, including children and infants, must have a completed TDAC. A parent or legal guardian may complete the form on behalf of a child.

How do I submit TDAC?

The TDAC can be submitted free of charge on the official Thai Immigration website. We do not issue TDAC as we are not affiliated with the Thai government. Our website provides independent application assistance that can help you step-by-step with completing your form, error check, manual review and online support. Travelers may complete the form independently or choose to use our platform for help.

Is TDAC the same as Visa on Arrival?

No, Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is not a Visa on Arrival (VoA) - it is a travel declaration form used for immigration procedures and data collection. In the past, travelers completed a paper arrival card (TM6) - TDAC replaces this paper form with an electronic version. Visa on Arrival (VOA) is an entry option that allows citizens of certain countries to obtain a visa when they arrive in Thailand, instead of applying for a visa before traveling. Eligibility depends on the traveler’s nationality and current entry rules.
